Singing the praises of...Kmart?

Been to Kmart lately? Since needing to set up in a new apartment, I've stumbled upon a cheapass alternative to Freedom and the likes. Plus Kmart rocks on Ikea cause you don't have to go to the burbs and battle the crowds. All the housey organizing gear you need, branded as Homemaker.

My tower of shoes - $39 for the rack.

Cool outdoor lighting, if I had a backyard I'd love these:

Ebay giveth and Ebay taketh away

Giveth:
I'm cleaning out my perfume stash. I'm pretty consistently wearing Flowerbomb most of the time and Badgley Mishka for evenings/once in a while.

So buy some of my stash! LINK HERE

Taketh away (my money I mean):
Scores of the weekend - 2 tables, which I *needed* I tell you. This super cool dining table for $230 from Nick Scali. They said they paid $599 for it, which from Nick Scali I believe:

And this little cafe table for the balcony - I'll bet the guy stole it from some pub but I don't really care. He lives near my work so it was cheap and easy. $40!

The goodness of the roundness of the tables balances out all the angles that are otherwise in my place. Happy happy joy joy!

It's been a while

It's been a while since Feb 21st and much has gone on!

  • I've been to NZ and back for work. Got a mediocre pedicure in Takapuna Beach, Auckland:
    365.28 Tattoo #2

  • Had crazy houseguests for almost 2 weeks:
    365.24 Girls out drinkin!

  • Shopped in Perth, Freemantle and Margaret River and bought a boatload of wine. When people tell you it's wine country with beautiful beaches, believe them! It doesn't get better.
365.38 So many wineries so little time.

  • Moved apartments and haven't had broadband for a week now. Fingers crossed it's on when I get home tonight!
    365.41 Moving sucks

  • Bought a new dress and got a new haircut last weekend in Double Bay:
    365.47 Weekend wind-down
    365.46 How's My Hair?

So the shopping for the next little while will be focused on getting my new place in order. I'm looking forward to finding a bit of new funky furniture. And maybe doing a little DIY in the new place.

I never thought I'd be blogging about...

    ...pantyliners!

    Moxie

But seriously, aren't these cute? They come in a little tin! I'd totally have these in my bag.

    Glebe!

Maybe cause I work there and get my delicious morning coffee on Glebe Point Road everyday, I love Glebe! I'm there all week, then I want to go back once in a while on Saturdays to check out the markets. Tops!

Had a great day with Zil at the Glebe Markets and guess what? I. Bought. Nothing. Seriously!

    Don't Mess with Project Shiny

She did awesome tho and got 3 tops, a chunky necklace and a pair of sunnies for under $100. Sweetness!

    Than we drank beer. Yay!

    The Weather Outside is Frightful

It's been raining for ages....I feel like I'm in a crap Vancouver summer. And it's bumming me out.

But the upside is that Zil is coming to visit on Monday. So what should we do in Sydney?

Pubs: Dolphin, Whitehorse, Tilbury, The AB, Opera Bar, Argyle, The Oaks, Mosman RSL, Bondi RSL, Kirribili Club.

Sightseeing: Botanic Gardens, Circular Quay, Rocks, Northern Beaches, Watsons Bay, Shopping Oxford St, Taronga Zoo, ferry to Manley.

Not sure what else to do! Help!
